north carolina in cleveland

as i write this it is 03:46 in the morning on 21st of january 2006 and this is the tenth day that it has been in the 50's in cleveland so basically it has been in the 50's for half this month and the temperature has failed to stay below freezing in any of the 21 days this january. the projected temperatures for the next 8 days predicts the same temps that are hovering near 15 degrees above average. lake erie remains unfrozen for one of the few times in recent history and this is the warmest january i remember in the northeast in my life.

but who's complaining? with the price of heating and the means of transportation, i'm elated!
